Feliway Diffuser
When a cat feels safe, it rubs its face on household furniture leaving behind facial pheremones. Feliway reproduces these pheremones synthetically to help to promote a sense of calm and well being in a cats environment.
Feliway can be particularly helpful where a cat has experienced a stressful change in its surroundings. The stress often shows through as unwanted behaviour such as excessive grooming, scratching, urine marking or refusal to interact with humans. Common stressful events include a new person in the house, moving home or a trip to the vets.
Feliway simply plugs into an electrical socket (3 pin 220volts) in the room where the cat spends most of its time or where the unwanted behaviour is occurring. Works over a 50-70 sq. m. area. For two rooms or for a larger area, use two diffusers. Works for approximately four weeks - refills available.
Feliway is also available in a spray format which allows specific areas to be targeted and can be useful when travelling.
